University of Minnesota – Minneapolis
This is my home turf. I got a few of my friends to help me with the Barefoot walk. The four of us prepped before hand to make sure that we were all on the same page in terms of what we were doing and where we were going.
Our goal: To get people to see our shirts and hear about One Day Without Shoes
Our strategy: Talk to random people, share the TOMS vision, and take pictures with them
Our method: We had fliers with the blog address and TOMS information, so that people would check it out and see their pictures!
it was a lot of fun
people were amazingly nice! Some even came up to ask us what One Day Without Shoes was (without me having to approach them!) and thought it was a great cause.
just chillin before heading out.
Our first friends Tony and Nick that we talked to about TOMS!
met up with two more to head out and make some noise!
my friend Robby’s feet and his sister Brittany’s feet walking across the washington ave bridge
outside the famed “Shoe Tree”
We were amazed at how many shoes people have thrown away over the past years. And to think that there are people around the world who don’t even have one pair. We have so many that we throw them over trees.
showing off our dirty feet!!!!

we have dirty feet. and we are tired. TIRED.
